Ar. Sriraj Basavaraju - Principal

Bachelors in Architecture from RVCE, Bangalore and Masters in Architecture from UNSW, Australia, he started his own firm in 2005 called ‘Realm Architects’ in Bangalore. Ar. Sriraj Basavaraju believes that life is a journey and that one must live it to the fullest. He has been the principal architect for a decade and has worked on a good variety of projects. On the other hand, he has shown keen interest in the field of academics – He was formerly the HOD/Dean at Impact College of Architecture and was also teaching at RVCE. He also writes for the architecture column in Deccan Herald and is an extremely passionate biker. He believes that integrity, sincerity and dedication are the basic virtues that any human being should possess and that these values form the crux of life.

Ar. Sairam Kumar - Head Of Departament

Sairam completed his Master of Town Planning from School of Architecture and Planning (Chennai) in 2002 and B.Arch degree from Regional Engineering College, Tiruchirapally in 2000.
Over the years, Sairam has been associated as a practicing architect in various offices His list of works include High Rise Residential, Residences and Commercial projects. This combination of practice and teaching helps the students in getting practical exposure. He is also member in Institute of Town Planners, India and Indian Institute of Architects.
As an academician I believe in : Achitecture without architects and to draw no line between sculpture and architecture

Ar. Elza D'cruz - Associate Professor

She is engaged in mentoring design studios and teaching history and theory of Architecture. Her major emphasis and interest lie in developing an understanding of nature, human aspects and urban sociology as the basis to design of built environment. She has written papers on urban design in historic precincts. She is a recipient of the Prof. P. C Alexander memorial Award for the best outgoing student in Architecture at the Government College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram and IIA Gold Medal for students in Architecture from IIA, Thiruvananthapuram Chapter.

Ar. Chandrahasa Reddy - Associate Professor

Completed his B.Arch from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad in 2003. Since then he has been a member of Council Of Architecture, India. Did his Masters in Construction Management from Swinburne University of Technology, Australia in 2005. He has good working experience in various branches in construction in Australia, India & United Kingdom

Ar. NavneetGaba – Assistant Professor

Philosophy : “A Human: Clean and Green within and outside An Architect: with Values and looking forward watering budding architects.

Qualification : Bachelor of Architecture, VNIT Nagpur (1991-1996)

Experience : Founder and Principal Architect @ NAVARTH ARCHITECTS

Over past 15 years, worked with reputed architects in Delhi & Bangalore in areas of Residential, Commercial and Institutional to name a few.

Ar.Sandhya B K – Assistant Professor

Education : Bachelor degree from University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (Bangalore University,2009) and a Master degree in Urban Design from RVCE (V.T.U 2013) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Law through Distance Education from National Law School University of India in 2011.

Have been engaged in teaching Architecture Students over the last two years and main interests lie in History of Architecture and

Sustainable Design.

Worked on various Residential and Interiors Projects.

Loves travelling and exploring New things.

Ar.Jambavati.Gouda – Assistant Professor

Education : Bachelor of Architecture in 2010.Masters of Architecture in Urban Design from RVSA Banglore.

In 2013 she joined University School of design, Mysore as Assistant Professor .The journey of teaching & learning continued for period of two years along the practice.

Further she joined McGansOoty School Of Architecture, Nilgiris as Assistant Professor for academic year.Shecurrently has moved to Banglore& joined RRSA as Assistant Professor with the same passion to learn more & share more ofher skills of teaching.

Ar Aishwarya K– Assistant Professor

Qualifications : B.Arch (2015), M.Arch - Landscape Architecture (2018)
Bachelors degree in Architecture from B.M.S.C.E. Bangalore. Worked on various residential, commercial and hospitality projects during her practice. The love for nature drove her to take up masters in landscape architecture from Ramaiah Institute of Technology (S.O.A) and has keen intererst in landscape conservation and restoration. She is a trained Indian classical and free style dancer and has actively participated in social and cultural events.

Ar Divya Sara Jacob – Assistant Professor

Qualifications : B.Arch 2016, M.Arch – Landscape Architecture 2018
Bachelor’s degree from BMS School of Architecture, Yelahanka (2016) and masters from Ramaiah Institute of Technology- SOA (2018).
Her practical training experience includes working under architect, town planner Ar Vidhyadhar Wodeyar (Archplan) and under Ar Bijoy Chacko (Mounds & Swales) for various landscape projects. Her passion for teaching pursued her to join RRSA as assistant professor. Her interests include cooking, travelling, art and history.

Ar. PAVITHRA T – Assistant Professor

Qualifications : B.Arch (2016), M.Arch -Landscape Architecture (2018)
She completed B.Arch from Acharya NRV school of Architecture in 2016 and her M.Arch in Landscape Architecture from Ramaiah Institute of Technology – SOA in 2018.
She has gained practical experience in various interior projects from Design Café under Ar.Gita Ramanan and Ar.Shezan Bhojani and various Landscape projects from Dhruva Associates under Ar.Prasad .G and has her own practice as an Architect at Hidden Geometry studio. She has a special liking for Photography, Model making and Sketching.

Ar. Prashanthi Ajila – Assistant Professor(Visiting)

Has Graduated from L S Raheja School of Architecture, Mumbai in 2005. Has worked extensively in Architecture and Interior Design projects over a decade and has spanned genres of residential, hospitality, commercial, entertainment, retail, sports, education and luxury segments over various parts of the country. Loves Photography, Travelling, Trekking and teaching.

Ar. Venugopal V G – Assistant Professor(Visiting)

VENUGOPAL V.G. is a Bangalore based Visual Artist having completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from Chamarajendra Academy of Visual Arts, University of Mysore with a Gold Medal and Master of Fine Arts in Printmaking from Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore. Since 2000 he has been a practicing artist working in various mediums of Visual Art like Drawing & Painting, Printmaking, Illustrations and Animation based Video Art. He has 4 solo shows to his credit: ‘Now Showing’, Chitrakala Parishat’, Bangalore (2003); ‘Monologues’, Gallery Blue Spade, Bangalore (2010); ‘Factual Fictions’, Gallery Veda, Chennai (2016) and Hastakshar Art Gallery, The Westin, Pune (2017).
